CPA NEWS: 1-16-20 Newton Saves Woods with CPA!

The CPA At Work in Newton

The City of Newton, through its City Council, voted to acquire Websters Woods by eminent domain in order to prevent Boston College from developing the land, a beloved conservation area.

This is another example of how the Community Preservation Act really can preserve a community.

It is not hard to imagine open space and/or historical structures in Burlington that nearly all citizens would like to see protected, and CPA could provide the funds.
